An open letter to my dear friend, Sashi
Dear Sashi,
Sashi Kumar "is" my (our) friend from the year 2000.
This is one of the strangest things I have ever done. Writing to you, now. The fact that your physical dimension no more exists has taught me many lessons of life, for which I owe you a thanks, a thanks with grief that is un-definable. Your sudden absence has created a deep vacuum. It created a large ripple, carried with a loud noise. It was so loud, that it was deafening. It was so shocking that I could never feel it.
You made me (rather us) realize that we are mere mortals, we are so helpless as humans that we really cant ensure our own existence in this physical realm. And, why are we so arrogant about our "humanness" . Can we afford to be that arrogant, so self-obsessed?
You made us realize how fragile our physical existence is and how we lose our"selfs" in our mundane pursuits.
You made us realize how close we are to "the other side" and we never feel it till we cross the line. You warned us to "live" our lives rather than spend away time in this dimension called world.
However, Sashi, these lessons came to us in a very hard way, these realizations had to pay a heavy fee, your absence from our physical world. I promise to carry these forward, bear with me, in my mind (the softer and virtual world with in). Where you will be always with us. Where no earthly intervention can wipe you out.
Let me keep this short. For, truth is always simple and lucid and you have guided us towards it.
See ya, Sashi. See ya again, in my deeds, see ya again in my thoughts, see ya again in my spiritual pursuits.
bbye, friend.
Urs,
Golti!
